Kosovo has strengthened its legal framework that is aligned with the obligations deriving from the Stabilisation and Association Agreement on intellectual property rights.  A package of laws has been developed by the EU funded Support to the IP Rights in Kosovo project in close coordination with Kosovo institutions, and adopted by the Kosovo assembly. At present, Kosovo has a fully functional IP system, aligned with EU practices, which provides a solid framework for boosting economic transactions involving intellectual property rights.
